The end of the summer is coming around again. For most of us that will mean that we can actually expect to have to do a few things with our working day! Hooray! But, unfortunately it also means that Uchinada Beach Apre will close its doors for another year. Noooo!

To make sure you send off the summer in the most rocking way you know how, get your mates and get down the beach on SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 3rd for the last free party of the year....UCHiNADA GRiND OuT....brought to you by your very own Ajet non-sports and events coordinator!

There's been a lot of blood, sweat and tears, but finally the bands and dj's (and bbq) are ready to, with the line up as follows;

There's quite a wide range of styles covered by the bands here, from classic and hardcore rock, to indie and jazz, so should be something for everyone! Please come along and support your local bands! We will hopefully also have the bbq going at 4pm, but people are more than welcome to start their own at apre. There will be places ready!

For those of you that have never been out to Uchinada beach before, please make sure you see it at least once before you leave Ishikawa! Trains run from Kanazawa Station quite frequently - turn left out of Uchinada Station and walk about 10 mins straight to the shore. Anyone needing more specific details on how to get there please get in touch. (Also, please make sure you bring something warm to wear as the evenings this last week have been pretty chilly at the beach).

I'm hearing there's some confusion over this so to clear things up.....

For those of you needing to getting laid before Sept 10th, I will expect to see you down at Uchinada Beach Apre on SATURDAY 3rd SEPTEMBER.

This is the last weekend that Beach Apre is Officially open this summer and will be the biggest and best party. hehehe.

Organised by yours truely, the Grind Out will feature local indie, rock, emotional (?) bands, djs and skateboarders.

Beach Apre is open from about mid-day, the bands will kick off about 4pm (Sturgis Jam session!) with the headliners on from around 8pm. Don't miss Northern Life (9pm) and Mahout (10pm).

The event is FREE for all to join, so no excuses for not partying till sunrise...unless you get to comfortable on a hamock.
