On Saturday, October 8th, we will be departing from Kanazawa (exact location TBA) at 8:15 am (meet at 8:00 am) to head to the glorious Mt. Hakusan.

There, we will engage in a thrilling climb to the top of one of Japan's three most cherished mountains.

On the way back, we will have two stops. First, a stop at Tsurugi Station for those of you who would like to go to the Tsurugi Hourai (s/p?) Matsuri, heralded as one of the drunkest, wildest festivals in all of Ishikawa. Or you can choose the tamer local of somewhere in Kanazawa to recuperate.

All of this, plus some light snacks is all yours for the low price of 3000 yen.

Space is limited, so contact Bel at ishikawa at ajet dot net for more details or to sign up, ASAP!

All skill levels welcome...nearly anyone can do this climb! (I did it without any warning). You need not be a member of AJET to come, anyone is welcome!

Cheers!

~Ishikawa AJET Planning Committee
