Kanazawa is the major center of Ishikawa Prefecture. With an approximate population of half a million people, it is small enough to remain charming but large enough to provide almost all the things a city can offer- nightlife, entertainment, great eating, plenty of shopping, versatile shopping etc.

On the following pages we have (with the extremely kind help of members of the JET community) put together a large and concise encylopedia of information on Kanazawa. At the moment though, it can be seen that there is room for much much more. Ideally this site can be the ultimate web resource for Kanazawa.

How often have you wanted to go to the gym but don't know a good one? What if you need Bangladeshi food but just have no idea where to take your love out to?
